Wild Benchmark
Peakbagging Washington
Located at the South end of the private Kapowsin Tree Farm, near the North end of the Elbe State Forest, Wild Benchmark is a semi-prominent highpoint with a 1941 intact Benchmark at the summit. Roads nearly go to the top and an old cat track once did. Surprisingly the summit has a few views although trees are growing in fast. A few minute climb through the forest leads to the summit. The parking area near the summit offers expansive views from this point with 571 feet of prominence.
