Fircrest Park
The big park in the heart of Fircrest is suitably named Fircrest Park. This community park has an open feel because it is surrounded by residential streets, with homes on the opposite sides. The well used park is perfect for walking from your home to play some catch or walk the dog. Amenities include a 2 softball fields, kids play equipment, picnic tables and shelters, a basketball court and lots of open grass field. In the SE corner of the park is the Roy H. Murphy Community Center, which has a gym, meeting rooms and a community pool. Adjacent to Fircrest Park is Gene Goodwin Memorial Tot Lot, a play area specifically for little kids. The tennis courts are also located here.
