Lake Allan York Park - Bonney Lake
Allan Yorke Park is the largest park in Bonney Lake. It is located at the South end of Lake Tapps, at the intersection of Bonney Lake Boulevard and West Tapps Hwy. Allan Yorke Park is the site of Bonney Lake Days, a summer celebration including a parade, kids' activities, stage shows, and fun for the whole family. Some of the amenities at Lake Allan York Park include a skate park, three baseball diamonds, a fishing dock, playgrounds, swimming areas, two tennis courts, a basketball court and picnic areas. In summer, there is a small concessions stand called the Snack Shack near the restrooms and water fountains. There is a boat launch that requires a fee. Water levels are always changing on Lake Tapps so check with the Cascade Water Alliance for more information. Lake Allan York Park is separated into three sections by roads. One is along the waterfront, the other two are across the road, with the open grassy areas, picnic locations, ball fields and the parking lots. The baseball diamonds can be reserved as well as the picnic pavilions with grills. The park offers free lifejackets to use while swimming in the roped off area.
