USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park
Battleship Memorial Park honors all veterans of all wars with numerous monuments and equipment installed throughout the grounds. The collection of items would be amazing even without the flagship item, the battleship. The USS Alabama only served 3 years during WWII and now rests in Mobile as a National Historic Landmark becoming an icon for the State of Alabama. A bonus is touring the WWII submarine USS DRUM. The DRUM is the oldest American submarine on public display.
