Spanaway Park

The most popular park in Spanaway is Spanaway Park, located on Spanaway Lake. This large park offers the standard amenities like swimming beaches, a boat launch, a fishing pier, many picnic areas, kids play equipment, paved and dirt walking trails, open fields, softball fields, and basketball courts. Spanaway Park also offers a boathouse where you can rent canoes and paddle boats. Also for rent are 5 covered picnic shelters with running water, electricity and a large grills. The park also hosts in the holiday season, the Fantasy Lights Walk and Fantasy Lights, the largest drive-through holiday display in the Northwest. Another event is the Hydroplane Races in September. Currently, Spanaway Park has a fee to enter the park since Spanaway is not a city, the park is run by Pierce County Parks.
