North Shorewood Park - West Seattle

North Shorewood Park is currently managed by the King County Parks Department. This small neighborhood park can be very scenic as the pictures show. There is not much developed here. The playground is small, a few picnic tables are around and the basketball hoop is rarely used. There is a basic off-leash fenced dog area although you may find yourself in the park all alone anyway. The back end of the park is hilly and riddled with trails. None of them seemed official, some were overgrowing, several accessed nearby streets. Generally, North Shorewood Park just seems like a nice local park for the local neighborhood to enjoy.
