This mountain is the highest point at the western edge of the Elbe Hills State Forest. The un-named summit was often called Teds Bald by the local foresters. Ted, whose last name I'll not say here, was my boss and he designed the timber sale that completely shaved the summit bare. Needless to say, the spot is easily identifiable for miles in all directions and he received some harassment for it. Someday, the trees will grow back and all will be forgiven of Ted.

Distance: 1/4 to one mile
Elevation Gain: 300 to 500 feet
Summit Elevation: 2,700 feet
Road Access: Good Gravel most years
Although I have been right nearby, I do not remember going all the way to the top. I will give more info after I visit. But, access is similar to:
