There is nothing too exciting about the highest point on Mercer Island. Luckily, it is in a city park, Rotary Park. Like many other highpoints around Puget Sound, the main water storage facility is there, probably the reason the property was spared from development. The public library is just feet away as well. The highest spot in the park looks like a dirt mound that is not natural. Still, how cool it would be if a sign said "highest point on Mercer Island". A sidewalk surrounds the mound; it is ready for the glory it deserves.

The Veigh Benchmark marker on the topographical map on the right is somewhere around where this picture was taken. I forgot to look for it, instead I was focusing on these mounds which look artificial. Still, that back one looks to be the highest point around while on top.
I think this is the highest spot
Highest spot is somewhere around Rotary Park
