South Fork Park - Provo Parks & Recreation
Provo Canyon has many parks but one of the more quiet parks is hidden up a side canyon, accessed from Vivian Park. South Fork Park features South Fork Creek, a refreshing watering hole in the summer that visitors can't help but step into. Both sides of the creek offer park activities. You will find picnic tables, fire pits, and 2 group pavilions for eating, some with running water and electricity. Mostly, the park offers open space for kids to run on, play frisbee, or just lay out a blanket. There are some short trails to hike on as the park is surrounded by trees like oak, box-elder, and maples. The backdrop is nice as will with Mount Timpanogos and other nearby lesser peaks.
