McNeeley Peak makes for a nice short hike and scramble from the Sunrise area of Mount Rainier National Park. You could also combine it with a number of other peaks in the area, especially Antler and Dege Peaks.

Summit Elevation: 6,786 feet
Access Rating: Paved
Drive to the White River Entrance to Mt. Rainer National Park, do not stop until you reach Sunrise.
Access:
From the Sunrise parking area, hike up to the Sourdough Ridge Trail. Follow it west a short distance until the Huckleberry Creek Trail cuts off to the right at a saddle. Drop down toward the basin but only about half way. Leave the trail and cross country over to the true summit of McNeeley Peak.
