This is a popular hike in Mount Rainier National Park due to the easy access and no fee parking area. It is the first trail you hit once you enter the park on Highway 410. The mountain once had a fire lookout so the trail is well built. You even have the option to visit Crystal Lakes if you have the time and energy.
