Payson Second Ward
Although there was a tabernacle, the first church building in Payson is today called the Payson Second Ward Building. Although the first ward congregation attended there, when that First Ward was divided into two wards, the Second Ward stayed. What was known as the First Ward built a building over on 315 East 100 North, the one that now holds the Catholic Church. This original Payson Second Ward building is known today as the Green Church. The building was remodeled several times and the corner entrance was closed.
