Draper Ward Building

The Draper Ward was formed in 1856. Sometime in the 1880's a tabernacle was built. It wasn't large enough for social events so a large structure with a large oval dance floor with capacity for 700 dancers was built. It had a lobby, ticket office, dressing rooms, check room and refreshment parlor containing a soda fountain. The structure lasted until demolished sometime around the late 1950's
