The most Northwest peak in Idaho is Snowy Top, just a half mile from Canada. With no trail to the summit and being far removed from any roads, this summit is seldom climbed. The next mountain south is Little Snowy Top, which had a fire lookout for many years. This is the easiest approach, hike the trail north from the lookout until the most northern point, then go cross country up the south ridge.
