Bailey Mountain Lookout Site

The Kresek inventory says there was a 1930s crows nest with a tent cabin. A USGS party went to the summit in 1945 and placed a benchmark called BAILEY. They made no mention of the lookout. The lookout may not have even been on the summit. There are several highpoints on this mountain and Tunk Mountain was not that far to the West. It is possible the view area was only south, or east. Numerous spots should be checked out on Bailey. Maybe the tree is still standing!
