Hike to the highest point in Crater Lake National Park. This nice park trail is easy for a family or anyone who likes views and a fire lookout on the summit. People say that only from this summit can you get the whole crater into a normal camera viewfinder. What you will have for sure is a good view of the park as well as far off peaks from Mt. Shasta to the Three Sisters.

Follow the east trail as it passes through some meadows. The trail eventually starts climbing uphill under a canopy of trees. The trail then switchbacks a few times on the south slopes until the lookout is reached. Views throughout the hike.
Follow the east crater rim drive to the southeast corner of the lake looking for signs for the Mt. Scott Trailhead. The parking lot is adjacent to the Rim Drive so you can not miss it.
