Distance: 5.1 mile loop
Chesler Park & The Needles Trail
This trail is often hiked in order to make loop trips. Nothing on this trail is a destination point but as with any wondering in the Needles District, you are bound to be impressed with something here. Along the way, sandstone towers of rock are just off the trail. Long distance views are possible as the trail is one of the highest in the Needles District. Several trail junctions are intersected. Hiking the Devils Pocket Trail would make a full backcountry loop (not in yellow on map as I didn't walk that entire section of trail).
